Privacy Statement for Stø Company Portal

Purpose

In the Stø Company Portal (hereinafter referred to as "the portal"), you may, as long as you represent a company, create a user in the portal. The portal may also be used by representatives of resellers who have entered into a reseller agreement with Stø AS (hereinafter “Stø”), or by you who already have a business agreement.

In the portal, you can access information and order products and services from Stø for use by the reseller, on behalf of the reseller’s customers, or for your own company.

The privacy statement is also considered an integral part of the agreement entered into between you as a business customer (reseller agreement or business agreement) and Stø.

Data Controller

Stø is the data controller for the personal data you provide when using the portal.

Processing Activities

By processing activities, we mean the processing we undertake with your personal data when you use the portal;

Login

To log in to the portal and authenticate yourself, and to simplify filling in contact information in forms.

Using the portal

When you use the portal’s functionality, we process your personal data to enable you to order products and services, sign orders, generate agreement documents, and manage history, including your activities in the portal, as well as the date and time of your logins.

What personal data do we process?

When you log in and use the portal, we process your name, email address, telephone number, the company you represent, access role, a unique identifier from your eID, and your activities in the portal.

Legal Basis for Processing

When logging into the portal, and before you have ordered any products or services, legitimate interest constitutes the legal basis for the processing of your personal data. When you place an order and an agreement has been entered into, the agreement constitutes the legal basis for the processing.

Use of Subcontractors and Disclosure to Others

Your personal data may be processed by a data processor who processes your personal data as a subcontractor for Stø.

Stø always enters into a data processing agreement with its data processors, and any data processors will only process the information in accordance with the Personal Data Act (Norwegian: Personopplysningsloven), Stø’s instructions, and for the purposes for which your personal data has been collected.

Personal data may be disclosed to authorities or other third parties if there is legal basis for it.

Cookies

We only use necessary and functional cookies in the portal. This means that the cookies in use are necessary for the website to function, to verify that a logged-in person with access is logged in, and to link the user to the correct organization.

We do not use third-party cookies for advertising on third-party websites.

Storage

Stø will store your information as long as you represent a reseller or a company, and to show a history of ordering processes and agreement documents. History will be stored in accordance with storage requirements in the Accounting Act. When that time has passed, your personal data will be deleted.

Data Protection Officer

Stø has a data protection officer. You can always contact the data protection officer if you have questions about Stø’s processing of your personal data as a business customer. The data protection officer can be reached most easily at personvern@bidbax.no.

Rights

You have the right to receive information about what personal data is processed about you in Stø's business. If you have questions, you can send an inquiry to personvern@bidbax.no.

If you believe that Stø has not complied with your rights under the Personal Data Act, you have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. Contact information is available at www.datatilsynet.no.

All processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the provisions of privacy legislation. This text may be updated. The latest version is always available on our website.
